I want to be an example for new generations working in coffee, putting into practice what I have learned as part of this training journey. Personally, I have been particularly interested in exploring the role of women and how they are included in all activities, highlighting their value and contribution to the coffee value chain. I have taken part in events and trainings on the topics of gender, climate change adaptation practices, integrated pest management, and coffee certifications, among others.
As a Climate Pioneer in training, I am sharing what I have learned with my peers, promote it among my family members, and plan to incorporate these practices in my own coffee plot. I am also interested in learning more about plant/bean nutrition to improve my coffee quality in an environmentally friendly way. Through training and encouraging of youth participation, my farmer organization continues to provide key support through this process.
